Works in Wood. Richard Vaughan established his first workshop as a designer/maker in Sydney in 1983. He first exhibited in 1985 at the Sydney Opera House with the Woodworkers' Association of NSW. Jim Wester at North Bay Forge is a toolsmith: a blacksmith who forges edge tools. He makes hard to find tools such as adzes, scorps, and a number of different bent knives. I have had a bent knife of his for some time and it is a sweetheart. So, I have just bought a couple of scorps, and another bent knife. Next will be an adze. Or two.
